Vitra Akari YA2 Table Lamp

The Vitra Akari YA2 is a luminaire that embodies the artistic vision of Isamu Noguchi, crafted in 1951 as part of his iconic Akari Light Sculptures series. Handcrafted from traditional washi paper by Japanese artisans, the YA2 luminaire showcases Noguchi's dedication to blending art and functionality. Through the delicate manipulation of paper, Noguchi transforms the harshness of electric light into a soft, ethereal glow reminiscent of sunlight, inviting a sense of tranquility and harmony into any space.
