Tunto Square - 2000 mm - Walnut Pendant

The Tunto Square Pendant Lamp in walnut brings together crisp geometric lines and the natural warmth of solid wood, resulting in a fixture that feels both architectural and organic. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and crafted in Finland, this 2000 mm version is a striking statement piece for spaces that call for scale and presence, whether above a dining table, kitchen island, or in a commercial setting.

Built from solid wood measuring 40 x 60 mm, the pendant features a slim 35 mm canopy and a body of 220 x 110 mm, with a suspension height of 2 meters and a 3-meter power cable, both of which can be shortened during installation. The fixture houses a high-performance LED light source rated at 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, delivering direct, fixed illumination with excellent color rendering for a bright, true-to-life ambiance. Its lens optics ensure optimal light distribution and visual comfort, making it as functional as it is beautiful.

Control is made effortless through the optional Casambi (Bluetooth) system, a 2-wire solution requiring only active and neutral wires at the ceiling outlet. Dimming is continuous and can be managed externally via the Tunto EnOcean switch, a smartphone, or a tablet, offering flexible, wireless control without complex wiring.

With an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours, IP20 safety rating, and Class II protection, this pendant is built for reliable indoor use. As a natural material, the walnut finish carries unique grain variations and may evolve subtly over time, adding character to every piece. Simple maintenance with a soft, dry cloth keeps it looking its best for years to come.

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
