Tunto Square - 1720 mm - Walnut Pendant

Discover the Tunto Square Pendant Lamp in a generous 1720 mm length, crafted in Finland by designer Mikko Kärkkäinen. This striking piece combines crisp, geometric lines with the natural warmth of solid walnut wood, resulting in a fixture that feels both architectural and organic. As a living material, the walnut finish carries natural variations in grain and tone, and will continue to develop character as it matures over time.

Beyond its refined form, the Square Pendant is engineered for exceptional lighting performance. Fitted with high-quality lens optics, it delivers direct, comfortable illumination with a color temperature of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K and outstanding color rendering. The fixed light source ensures consistent, focused output suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, or any space where clarity and ambiance matter equally.

Control is effortless thanks to the integrated optional Casambi (Bluetooth) system, which enables continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean wireless switch. This 2-wire setup requires only active and neutral wires at the ceiling outlet, simplifying installation while offering flexible, modern control options.

The pendant features a canopy and connection in the same position, with a 2-meter suspension height and a 3-meter power cable, both of which can be shortened to suit your space. Built for indoor use, it carries an IP20 safety rating and Class II protection, with an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours for lasting performance.

A refined balance of Nordic design and technical precision, the Square Pendant brings understated elegance and dependable illumination to any interior.

Available options
Colour temperature: 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K · Optic: microprism, honeycomb or lenses · Control: DALI – Push Dim or Casambi (Bluetooth).

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
