Tunto L 60 - 1440 mm - Walnut Pendant

The Tunto L 60 Pendant Lamp in Walnut brings together Finnish design craftsmanship and refined technical performance in a streamlined architectural form. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and manufactured by Tunto in Finland, this 1440 mm version is crafted from solid walnut wood, finished with matching wood end caps that highlight the natural warmth and grain of the material. As the most powerful model in the Tunto range, the L 60 delivers maximum lumen output while maintaining a clean, minimalist silhouette suited to both residential and contemplative commercial spaces.

Equipped with the microprism, honeycomb or lens optics lens, this pendant achieves an ultra-low glare rating of UGR<16, ensuring exceptional visual comfort. The LED light source offers a choice of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K colour temperature and a color rendering index of Ra = 93, delivering crisp, true-to-life illumination. With a lifespan exceeding 50,000 hours, the fixture is built for long-term reliability and minimal maintenance.

Smart control is enabled through the optional Casambi (Bluetooth) system, a wireless 2-wire setup requiring only active and neutral connections at the ceiling outlet. Dimming is continuously adjustable and can be managed via the Tunto EnOcean switch or directly from a smartphone or tablet, offering flexible, cable-free control.

The pendant measures 1440 mm in length, with a canopy height of 35 mm, width of 220 mm, and depth of 110 mm; the wood profile itself measures 60 x 60 mm. Suspension height is 2 metres, and the 3-metre power cable can be shortened to suit the installation. Rated IP20 for indoor use, the L 60 is intended solely for professional installation.

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
