The Tunto L 40 Pendant Lamp in Walnut brings a refined, sculptural presence to any interior, pairing solid wood craftsmanship with advanced LED technology. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and manufactured in Finland, this pendant measures 1720 mm in length, with a canopy height of 35 mm, width of 220 mm, and depth of 110 mm, while the wood profile itself measures 40 x 40 mm. Suspension height is adjustable up to 2 meters, and the 3-meter power cable can be shortened to suit your space.

At its core, the L 40 features advanced microprism and honeycomb lens optics, engineered to deliver soft, low-glare, downward-facing illumination with a Unified Glare Rating below 19. With a color temperature of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K and an excellent color rendering index of Ra = 93, this pendant ensures natural, true-to-life lighting. The energy-efficient LED source promises an impressive lifespan of 50,000 hours.

This model is equipped with optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control, offering continuous dimming through a smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean switch, all via a simple 2-wire system requiring only active and neutral wires at the ceiling outlet.

Crafted from solid walnut, the lamp showcases the organic beauty of natural wood, with grain and tone that may subtly evolve over time. Rated IP20 for indoor use, it meets Class II protection standards and carries the CE mark. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel, and the LED module is not user-replaceable.

Which optic should I choose?
