&Tradition Alima NDS5 Shelving

The Alima NDS5 is a mid-size shelving piece that brings functional utility and quiet sophistication to any interior. Designed by Note (design studio) for &Tradition, it draws on Scandinavia's rich legacy of craftsmanship, blending practical storage with a refined, design-led aesthetic. Spacious enough to house a standard-size record player and its accompanying media, the NDS5 offers a balanced solution for both organisation and display, making it equally at home in a living room, study, or office setting.

Structurally, the Alima NDS5 features a steel frame of bent and welded tubes, paired with wood veneer shelves finished with solid wood edges. This edition is presented in Lacquered Walnut with a Chrome frame, a combination that pairs warmth with industrial precision. The piece measures W: 123 cm, D: 38 cm, H: 95 cm, with individual shelves measuring D: 35 cm and L: 118 cm, and weighs 24 kg.

Built to meet rigorous standards, the shelving is tested to EN 16121 Level 2, BIFMA X5.9, and EN 14749, ensuring durability and safety for everyday use. It is crafted using FSC® 100% certified wood, reflecting responsible forestry practices, and arrives flat-packed to help optimise shipping. Designed with circularity in mind, the Alima NDS5 is made to be easily repaired, renovated, and responsibly recycled at the end of its lifecycle. Produced in PRC by NUSH, this shelving unit is part of the wider Alima collection, offering a considered, sustainable approach to modern storage.
