Tom Rossau TR31 Table Light

The TR31 Table Light by Tom Rossau is a refined reinterpretation of a design classic, re-engineered to optimise both composition and functionality. Crafted from translucent white PC/PE Nonwoven material, the lampshade allows light to pass through evenly, casting a soft, indirect glow that fills any room with gentle, pleasant illumination and soft shadows.

What sets the TR31 apart is its distinctive silhouette: the shade spins from a circular form set at an angle, creating a striking asymmetric geometry that shifts and reveals new dimensions depending on the viewing angle. This dynamic composition gives the lamp a vivid, sculptural presence, transforming it into a true design statement as much as a functional light source.

The lamp rests on an elegant wooden foot, which gently lifts the shade above the table surface. This subtle elevation allows the eye to fully appreciate the geometry and craftsmanship of the shade, while adding depth and character to its surroundings. Measuring 40 x 55 cm, the TR31 Table Light fits comfortably as a bedside or side table piece, and complements the TR31 series, which is also available as a pendant version.

The fixture uses 1 x E27 socket light bulb, making it easy to source suitable bulbs. The PC/PE Nonwoven material is durable and flexible, retaining its white tone over time, though it should be kept away from water and cleaned only with a dry brush or a vacuum cleaner on low suction.
