Tom Dixon Void Light Surface Wall Lamp is a simple rounded lamp having a small yet powerful halogen bulb which is finely placed deep inside the lamp creating a soft, directional light beam, while it exterior surface is polished to a reflective finish which is Aluminum mixed with either brass, steel or copper. It is a design of Tom Dixon.
It inspiration is drawn by vacuum flasks, the Tom Dixon Void Light Surface Wall Lamp is formed using different form of metal creation techniques. The lamp is made into a complex dual-walled shade which is obtained from pure metal by pressing the metal sheets which are then spun and braised. This lights are finally hand polished which in turns creates a mirrored surface showing a reflection and the gloss finish is finally maintained by lacquering the finished object.
Tom Dixon Void Light Surface Wall Lamp has a single bulb which is 33watt. The mains of the lamp is dimmable and as such, its illumination in brightness can be reduced.
It comes in various colors and is used both indoors and outdoors. It can be used to form a collection of designs based on it arrangement in rows or columns as use by some music studios.
