The Tom Dixon Melt Fat Cone Table Light captures the mesmerizing essence of molten glass, evoking the interior of a melting glacier or images of deep space. Created through blow moulding and vacuum metallisation, the imperfect, organic Melt orb produces a hot-blown glass effect with abundant and unusual luminosity — here perched on a fat cone-shaped base for a striking sculptural silhouette on any table, sideboard or desk.
The 25 cm shade comes in seven finishes — Opal, Silver, Copper, Gold, Smoke, Bronze and Nickel — on a powder-coated steel cone in Black or Polished Silver. When off, the surface is mirrored and reflective; when lit, it turns translucent and reveals its melted, organic interior.
The integrated 7.5 W LED module delivers 800 lumens at a warm 3000 K (CRI >90) and dims smoothly via the inline dimmer on the 250 cm black fabric cable. LED lifetime 50,000 hours.
