Tom Dixon Cast Iron Hand Stand

Meet the Tom Dixon Cast Iron Hand Stand, a sculptural desk companion that brings an unexpected touch of surrealism to any workspace. Part sculpture, part function, this piece captures the form of a hand with striking realism, transforming a simple object into a conversation piece worthy of any considered interior.

Far from a mere ornament, this cast iron hand is as hardworking as it is intriguing. Use it as a sturdy bookend, a modern stand for your phone, or an elegant holder for notes and everyday essentials. Its stable base and substantial weight make it a practical solution for organizing your desk while adding a distinctly eccentric edge to the surrounding décor.

Crafted from solid iron, each piece is individually sand-cast, a traditional process that ensures no two hands are ever exactly alike. The finish is completed with a durable powder coating, offering long-lasting resilience for daily use. LampTwist celebrates the subtle irregularities that emerge from this handcrafted method — every mark, texture, and variation contributes to the object's own character and soul, making each piece truly one of a kind.

With its industrial weight and thought-provoking silhouette, the Cast Iron Hand Stand anchors your desk with quiet confidence. It's a design statement that merges sculpture with utility, ideal for those who appreciate objects with personality, craftsmanship, and a touch of the unexpected.
