FRSowden CL5 Ceiling Lamp Shade
Détails du produit
The Sowden CL5 Ceiling Lamp Shade is a striking silicone shade designed by George Sowden, combining sculptural form with a distinctive tri-colour palette of white, orange and brown. Measuring Ø 41 x H 22 cm, it brings a bold, contemporary presence to any ceiling fitting while remaining refreshingly simple in construction.
This shade belongs to the Shades collection, launched in 2020 after Sowden discovered the remarkable way silicone diffuses light. The material offers a soft, even glow while being non-toxic, easy to clean, shock-resistant and long-lasting in colour, making it a practical as well as visually engaging choice for everyday use.
The CL5 is sold exclusively as a shade, without ceiling rose or electrical components. It is compatible with any standard E27 pendant fitting and accepts an E27 LED bulb of maximum 15 W, which is not included. For a complete installation, the Sowden Ceiling Rose Kit — comprising cable, ceiling fitting and E27 bulb holder — is available separately.
Designed to be paired with your own electrical setup or combined with the dedicated Sowden kit, the CL5 offers flexibility for those looking to personalise their lighting scheme. Its sculptural silhouette and warm colourway make it equally suited to residential interiors and considered commercial spaces, where quality of light and material honesty are valued in equal measure.
