Serax Surface Mug without Handle

Part of the Surface collection by Sergio Herman, this Serax Surface Mug without Handle in Indi Gray draws its character from the raw, ever-changing landscapes of Zeeland, the designer's native region in the Netherlands. Inspired by the deep, mystical tones of the North Sea, this handleless mug captures the beauty of natural imperfection in every detail, translating the coastline's rugged textures into a refined tableware piece for daily use.

Crafted from stoneware with a glazed finish, each mug is finished with a reactive glaze that produces subtle, one-of-a-kind variations in color and texture. Since many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the authentic, artisanal character that defines the Surface range. This individuality means no two mugs are ever quite the same, making each piece a small work of design in itself.

Measuring 9 x 9 x 8.5 cm and weighing 0.34 kg, this mug holds a generous 30 cl capacity, ideal for coffee, tea, or your favorite warm beverage. It is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe up to 180°C, combining everyday practicality with understated elegance. The mug is also fully food-safe, ensuring worry-free use in any home or professional setting.

With its earthy tones and tactile surface, this piece pairs beautifully with the rest of the Surface collection, bringing a sense of grounded, natural sophistication to any table setting.
