Serax Surface Milk Jug S

The Serax Surface Milk Jug S in Indi Gray brings quiet, sculptural charm to the everyday table. Part of the acclaimed Surface tableware collection by Sergio Herman, this small stoneware jug is defined by its reactive glaze, which produces subtle, organic variations in color and tone. No two pieces are ever quite alike, giving each jug a sense of individuality and handcrafted authenticity that suits both casual and refined table settings.

Crafted from glazed stoneware, the jug measures 6,7 cm in length, 6,7 cm in width, and 7 cm in height, with a weight of 0,22 kg and a capacity of 10 cl. Its compact size makes it ideal for serving milk or cream, while its tactile, textured surface adds depth and character to any table arrangement. The jug is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and certified food-safe, combining everyday practicality with understated design.

The Surface collection draws its inspiration from Sergio Herman’s native Zeeland, a Dutch landscape shaped by shifting tides and coastal erosion. The glazing techniques and earthy tones reflect this raw, natural environment — from rugged coastlines to soft sandy dunes and deep, still waters. As Herman describes it, “every surface tells a story,” and this piece captures that philosophy in miniature form.

Please note that as part of a hand-finished collection, slight irregularities in glaze and shape are to be expected, adding to the piece’s distinctive, artisanal appeal. A minimum order quantity of four pieces applies.
