Serax Surface Espresso Cup with Saucer

Discover the Serax Surface Espresso Cup with Saucer in Indi Gray, a refined addition to the Surface collection by designer Sergio Herman. Crafted from glazed stoneware, this espresso cup and saucer set captures the moody, atmospheric tones of the North Sea, translating the rugged beauty of the Dutch coastline into a tactile tableware piece. The reactive glaze ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike, with subtle variations in color and texture that lend each cup a distinctive character and an authentic, handcrafted appeal.

Designed with everyday use in mind, the set measures 13 x 13 x 5.3 cm, weighs 0.42 kg, and offers a capacity of 10 cl — perfectly sized for a rich espresso. The stoneware construction is both durable and versatile: it is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe up to 180°C, making it as practical as it is beautiful. As many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, which only add to the uniqueness and character of each item.

Inspired by Sergio Herman's homeland of Zeeland, the Surface collection reflects the raw textures and quiet drama of a landscape shaped by tides and shifting light. From jagged coastlines to tranquil, dark waters, every piece tells a story of depth and authenticity.

Please note: this item has a minimum order quantity of 8 pieces, making it well suited for hospitality settings, gifting, or building a complete tableware collection.
