Serax Surface Deep Plate

Discover the Serax Surface Deep Plate XL in Indi Gray, a striking addition to the acclaimed Surface collection by chef Sergio Herman. With its illustrated, weathered appearance, this plate symbolizes depth and character, bringing an artisanal quality to any table setting. Each piece emanates pure craftsmanship, reflecting the thoughtful design philosophy behind the entire collection.

Crafted from glazed stoneware, the plate features a reactive glaze that ensures every piece is truly one of a kind. Subtle variations in color and texture add warmth and authenticity, celebrating the beauty of imperfection rather than uniformity. As many designs in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur — a natural part of what makes each plate unique.

The Surface collection draws its inspiration from Sergio Herman's native Zeeland, a region of Dutch islands shaped by the constant push and pull of the sea. Its raw materials, muted colors, and refined glazing techniques echo the area's jagged coastlines, pale dunes, and deep, tranquil waters. As Herman describes it, every surface tells a story — one of rough textures and honest beauty.

Practical as well as beautiful, this plate is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 180°C, making it as functional as it is elegant. Please note a minimum order quantity of 4 pieces applies to this item. Bring a piece of Zeeland's rugged charm to your table with this exceptional design from Serax.
