Serax Surface Cappuccino Cup with Saucer

Discover the Serax Surface Cappuccino Cup with Saucer in Indi Gray, part of the acclaimed Surface collection by designer Sergio Herman. Crafted from glazed stoneware, each piece features a reactive glaze that produces subtle, one-of-a-kind variations in tone, giving every cup and saucer its own distinct character. The result is a design that feels both refined and organic, evoking the deep, moody hues of the North Sea.

Designed with everyday ritual in mind, this cappuccino cup and saucer set measures 16.5 x 16.5 x 7 cm, weighs 0.73 kg, and holds a generous 23 cl capacity — ideal for your morning coffee or afternoon cappuccino. The set is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe (up to 180°C), making it as practical as it is beautiful, though not suitable for salamander grills.

The Surface collection draws its inspiration from Sergio Herman's native Zeeland, a Dutch region shaped by tides, shifting sands, and rugged coastlines. Its raw textures and earthy tones reflect the beauty found in imperfection, echoing the designer's own words: “Every surface tells a story.” Each piece is finished by hand, meaning slight irregularities in shape and glaze are not flaws, but a mark of authenticity and craftsmanship.

Bring a sense of natural elegance to your table with this striking cappuccino cup and saucer, a versatile addition that pairs beautifully with the rest of the Surface tableware collection.
