Serax Perfect Imperfection Starter Plate Deepheaven

Designed by Roos van de Velde for Serax, the Starter Plate Deepheaven from the Perfect Imperfection collection brings a quietly poetic touch to the table. Crafted from fine bone china with a glazed finish, its organic, irregular shape tells a heavenly story where beauty and function meet in perfect balance. Each piece embraces the subtle variations that occur during production, celebrating imperfection as a mark of individuality rather than flaw.

Finished in a soft white tone, this starter plate measures 21.5 cm in length, 18.5 cm in width and 3 cm in height, with a weight of 0.25 kg. Its understated, sculptural silhouette makes it a versatile addition to any table setting, equally suited to casual dining and refined entertaining.

Practical as well as beautiful, the plate is dishwasher and microwave safe, and fully food-safe for everyday use, though it should not be used in the oven or under a salamander grill. As many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may appear — a natural part of the craftsmanship and uniqueness of each item.

The Perfect Imperfection collection marks a genuine innovation in porcelain design, being among the first to intentionally let chance and irregularity shape the production process. The result is tableware that feels alive, personal, and endlessly characterful — a true reflection of Serax's design philosophy. Please note this item has a minimum order quantity of six pieces.
