Serax Perfect Imperfection Deep Plate Oval

Designed by Roos van de Velde for Serax, the Perfect Imperfection Deep Plate Oval celebrates the beauty of irregularity. Part of the acclaimed Perfect Imperfection collection, this piece marks a genuine innovation in porcelain design: for the first time, imperfection, defectiveness and coincidence are deliberately given room to shape the production process. The result is a dinnerware range that balances precision and chance, where every oval plate carries its own unique character and no two pieces are ever quite alike.

Crafted from fine bone china with a glazed finish, this deep plate combines refined material quality with an artisanal, hand-finished touch. Slight irregularities in shape or surface are not flaws but an intentional part of the design philosophy, adding depth and individuality to every table setting. Measuring 23 x 14.5 x 5 cm and weighing just 0.31 kg, it offers a graceful oval silhouette that suits both everyday dining and more considered table styling.

Practical as well as beautiful, the plate is dishwasher safe, microwave safe and fully food-safe, though not suitable for oven or salamander use. Its versatile white tone makes it easy to combine with other pieces from the Perfect Imperfection collection, allowing for a layered, organic table setting full of texture and nuance.

Please note this item has a minimum order quantity of six pieces, making it especially well suited for hospitality settings, restaurants, or those looking to build a complete and characterful dinnerware collection at home.
