Designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Serax, the Passe-Partout Low Starter Plate embodies a pared-down, neutral aesthetic that effortlessly mixes and matches with the rest of the Passe-Partout collection. Crafted from porcelain with a matte finish, the plate features an off-white glaze on the inside contrasted by a matte exterior, creating a subtle yet distinctive visual interplay between textures.

This starter plate measures 22 x 22 x 2,5 cm and weighs 0,5 kg, fitting comfortably within the starter plate size range of 21–25 cm. As part of the broader Passe-Partout tableware line, it reflects Van Duysen's signature approach: no-nonsense, quietly nostalgic, yet distinctly contemporary. The collection's porcelain pieces invite countless visual effects through stacking and the interplay of contrasting white and black exteriors.

The plate is dishwasher safe and food-safe, though not suitable for microwave, oven, or salamander use. As with many Serax pieces, this item is finished by hand, meaning slight irregularities may occur — a natural characteristic that adds to the uniqueness of each piece rather than a flaw.

Please note that the matte exterior, while aesthetically striking, is more porous and therefore more susceptible to staining. We recommend washing the plate promptly after use to prevent staining from setting into the material. A minimum order quantity of 4 pieces applies to this product.
