Serax La Mère Vase/Serving Bowl

Discover the Vase/Serving Bowl in off-white from the La Mère collection by Serax, a versatile stoneware piece designed by Marie Michielssen. Marie has always had a love for festive table settings, and it was this passion that inspired her to add these sculptural vases to the La Mère line, bringing a nice flourish to any tablescape. Finished with a soft off-white glaze, the piece moves effortlessly between roles, serving as a striking vase or an elegant serving bowl depending on the occasion.

Crafted from stoneware with a glazed finish, the piece measures 19 cm in length, 19 cm in width and 22 cm in height, and weighs 2.5 kg. As many designs within this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the unique character of each piece. Please note that it is not dishwasher, microwave, oven or salamander resistant, and is not intended for food use.

This vase belongs to La Mère, Marie Michielssen's first ceramic tableware line and a heartfelt tribute to the mother figure and women in general. Rooted in the idea that sharing meals connects people, the collection carries a nostalgic charm while embracing an innovative vertical structure. Each shape is unique and hand-moulded, finished in broken white or warm dark brown, with bold Venetian red introduced as a striking contrasting accent throughout the wider collection.
