Serax Kubé 2 Console

The Kubé 2 Console by Ann Demeulemeester for Serax embodies a philosophy of design restraint and quiet contrast. Part of the wider Kubé family, this console explores proportion and geometry through a bold, architectural silhouette finished in an oak stain of rich brown. Its clean lines and graphic form make it a striking presence in any hallway, living space or entrance, offering both function and sculptural character.

Crafted from solid oak, the console measures 270 cm in length, 55 cm in width and 75.5 cm in height, with a weight of 66 kg. It is intended for indoor, dry environments only. As with all pieces in the collection, the wood is finished with a sprayed water-based stain that protects against dirt while allowing for easy cleaning with a slightly damp cloth. Because the piece is finished by hand and made from a natural material, slight irregularities and gradual changes over time—such as shrinkage or subtle shifts in colour under light exposure—are to be expected and are considered part of its individual character.

This console forms part of the first complete furniture line designed by Ann Demeulemeester together with her life partner Patrick Robyn, translating their personal design language into functional, timeless pieces. True to Demeulemeester's aesthetic, the Kubé 2 Console reflects a dialogue between strength and fragility, structure and nonchalance—an object that invites both use and contemplation.

The Kubé 2 Console is also available in a monochrome black finish.
