Serax Disc Concrete Table Lamp

Meet the Disc Lamp Concrete, a striking table lamp from Serax that pairs raw industrial character with soft, ambient warmth. Designed by Marie Michielssen, this piece brings together the hard, cool nature of concrete with the soft texture of its fabric lampshade, creating a captivating contrast that feels both grounded and inviting. The repetition of the cylindrical form gives the lamp a sculptural, architectural presence that feels timeless in any interior.

Crafted from concrete, the Disc Lamp measures 38 cm in length, 38 cm in width, and 50 cm in height, with a substantial weight of 10 kg that reflects the quality and solidity of its construction. Please note that the bulb is not included. As many Serax pieces are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the individual character and uniqueness of each lamp.

This design belongs to the broader Disc Lamp collection by Marie Michielssen, who has been designing for Serax for more than two decades. Known for her intuitive, hands-on approach to materials like ceramics and papier-mâché, Michielssen moves fluidly between geometric influences drawn from constructivism and Bauhaus, and softer, more organic, tactile forms. Her lighting range spans from intimate ambient lights to bold, sculptural floor lamps, always balancing form and function with a distinct artistic sensibility.

The Disc Lamp Concrete is a refined addition to any space seeking understated sophistication, blending architectural strength with warm, diffused light for a truly unique atmosphere.
