Serax Dé High Plate XL

Discover the Dé High Plate XL in White/Black Variation D, a striking piece from the Dé collection by Ann Demeulemeester for Serax. Crafted in glazed porcelain, this fine plate captures the interplay of light and shadow that defines Demeulemeester's aesthetic, translated here into a delicate hand-painted 'dégradé' along its edges. Built up in several layers, this meticulous technique creates a subtle interplay of lines, making each plate a unique piece with its own character and depth.

Measuring 27 x 27 x 4.2 cm and weighing 1.2 kg, this high plate is designed for versatile use, whether as part of a considered table setting or as a standalone statement piece. Its generous form allows for creative combinations with other pieces from the Dé collection, where the shadow effects of plates and cups meet to create an extraordinary play of light across the table.

The porcelain is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe up to 200°C, ensuring practicality alongside its refined design. As many pieces in this collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, a natural mark of craftsmanship that adds to the individuality of each item.

Designed by Ann Demeulemeester, whose work continues to explore contrasts between strength and fragility, structure and nonchalance, the Dé High Plate XL brings a sculptural, artistic sensibility to everyday dining, elevating any tablescape with quiet sophistication.
