Serax Cena Saucer Coffee Cup

Designed by architect Vincent Van Duysen, the Cena Saucer in Sand embodies a refined, understated approach to everyday tableware. Part of the acclaimed Cena collection, it strips away bold colors, textures and shapes to focus on pure, honest form. What you see is what you get: a quietly confident piece that lets its craftsmanship speak for itself.

Crafted from glazed porcelain, this saucer carries the warm, purified aesthetic that defines Van Duysen's signature style. Its soft sand tone belongs to a familiar palette of off-white and greige hues, designed to bring a calm, cohesive atmosphere to the table. As many pieces in the collection are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, adding to the individual character of each item.

Measuring 12 cm in length, 12 cm in width and 1 cm in height, and weighing just 0,13 kg, this saucer is practical for daily use. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, as well as fully food-safe, though not suitable for oven or salamander use, making it a reliable companion for both casual mornings and considered dinner settings.

The Cena collection reflects Van Duysen's exploration of tableware archetypes, combining glazed porcelain with other natural materials such as wood and smoked glass across the wider range. Together, these elements create a warm, cheerful mood that adapts effortlessly to different tastes and lifestyles. This saucer pairs naturally with the matching Cena coffee cup, completing a considered, timeless table setting.
