Serax Cena Deep Plate

Designed by architect Vincent Van Duysen for Serax, the Cena Deep Plate L in Sand brings a refined sense of calm to any table setting. Part of the acclaimed Cena dinner service, this piece reflects Van Duysen's signature approach to tableware: an exploration of classic archetypes reinterpreted through a warm, purified design language. The Sand hue, glazed porcelain finish and pure silhouette combine to create an atmosphere that is both grounded and quietly cheerful.

Crafted from glazed porcelain, the plate measures 22 x 22 cm with a height of 2.8 cm and weighs 0.66 kg. Its deep, rounded form makes it ideally suited for serving pastas, stews or generous main courses, while its understated tone allows it to pair effortlessly with other pieces from the Cena collection, including elements in wood and smoked glass.

The Cena collection embodies Van Duysen's familiar palette of off-white and greige tones, designed to bring together natural materials in a way that feels both timeless and versatile. As the designer explains, this combination creates a warm, welcoming mood that adapts naturally to different tastes and lifestyles.

Practical as well as beautiful, this plate is dishwasher and microwave safe, and certified food-safe for everyday use. As with many Serax pieces, subtle variations may occur due to the handmade finishing process, adding to the individual character of each item. Please note a minimum order quantity of four pieces applies to this product.
