Serax Aura Side Table S with LED Light

The Aura Side Table S is a striking study in geometry and craftsmanship, designed by Ann Demeulemeester for Serax. Crafted from solid wood, its form is built around two flat circles serving as top and bottom, joined by a slender curved pillar and a thin cylindrical column set parallel toward the outer edge. The result is a sculptural silhouette that feels both grounded and refined, embodying the interplay of strength and fragility that defines Demeulemeester's design language.

This side table features an optional integrated LED light, set within a circular recess in the tabletop beneath a translucent cover. Objects placed on the surface appear to glow gently from within, as though resting on a pedestal of light. The light's intensity can be adjusted with a simple stroke of the hand along the column, offering an intuitive and tactile way to control ambiance.

The Aura Side Table S is available in Beech Black, Beech Cream, Beech Off-White, Oak Natural, Oak Stained Black, and Oak Stained Brown, allowing it to suit a range of interior palettes while maintaining its distinctive silhouette. Each piece is finished with a sprayed lacquer or water-based stain that protects the wood while preserving its natural character, and slight variations are to be expected as part of its handcrafted nature.

Measuring 51 cm in length, 51 cm in width, and 62 cm in height, and weighing 11.9 kg, this side table is intended for indoor, dry environments. A versatile and sculptural addition, it brings both function and quiet drama to any living space.
