Seletti Meltdown Tray

Designed by Jordanluca for Seletti, the Meltdown Tray is a bold expression of the Meltdown collection, a project born from the clash of two distinctly British institutions: the rebellious energy of the rave scene and the quiet ritual of tea time. Emerging from the underground party culture of early 1990s UK, the rave movement was defined by illegal gatherings, free festivals and relentless dance music. Tea, by contrast, represents the other side of British identity, a constant companion through celebration, grief, shock and the everyday emotional rollercoaster of life. This tray captures that tension between chaos and comfort in a single, striking object.

Crafted from porcelain and finished with real gold detailing, the Meltdown Tray brings a refined yet rebellious edge to the table. Its melted, fluid silhouette pays homage to the collection's name, transforming a familiar household object into a piece of wearable design philosophy for the home.

Measuring 43.50 x 30.50 cm (17.13 x 12.01 in), the tray is generously sized for serving tea, coffee or display purposes, making it equally at home in a curated dining setting or as a decorative statement piece. Please note that this item is not microwave-safe, in keeping with its delicate porcelain and gold construction.

A bestseller within the Seletti universe, the Meltdown Tray is an ideal gift for design lovers drawn to pieces that carry a story, arriving with gift wrap available for those extra special occasions.
