Seletti Meltdown Teapot

Meet the Meltdown Teapot by Seletti, a striking piece from the Meltdown collection designed in collaboration with Jordanluca. Crafted from porcelain finished with real gold, this teapot merges fine tableware craftsmanship with an irreverent, contemporary edge that instantly transforms any table setting into a statement of personality.

The design draws its inspiration from two quintessentially British institutions: the rave culture that emerged from the UK's underground scene in the early 1990s, and the timeless ritual of tea time. Seletti plays with this unlikely pairing, celebrating the idea that tea accompanies every British emotion — from celebration to mourning, from shock to everyday meltdowns — with a piece that captures both rebellion and tradition in a single object.

Measuring 18.50 x 23.00 x 20.00 cm (≈ 7.28 x 9.06 x 7.87 in), the Meltdown Teapot is sized for genuine daily use while making a bold decorative impact. Please note the piece is not microwave-safe, so it is best enjoyed as part of a considered tea ritual rather than for quick reheating.

Whether displayed as a design object or used to serve tea to guests, this piece brings a playful, subversive energy to Seletti's tableware range. It pairs beautifully with other pieces from the Meltdown collection, and its gold detailing adds a touch of unexpected luxury to an otherwise everyday object.

Gift wrapping is available, making the Meltdown Teapot a distinctive choice for design lovers and collectors alike.
