Seletti Meltdown Coffee Cup

Designed by Jordanluca for Seletti, the Meltdown Coffee Set of 2 is a bold homage to two quintessentially British institutions: the rebellious energy of the rave scene and the timeless ritual of tea time. Born from the collision of 1990s underground dance culture and the refined tradition of afternoon tea, this collection captures a distinctly British duality — celebration and melancholy, order and chaos — in a single, striking tableware piece.

Each set includes two cups, two saucers, and two spoons, crafted in fine porcelain and finished with real gold detailing for a touch of understated luxury. The cups measure 8x7x8 cm and 8.5x6x6.5 cm, the saucers come in at 12x12x3 cm and 12.5x10.5x3 cm, while the spoons measure 11x2 cm, offering a considered variation in form that adds character to the set. Please note the pieces are not microwave-safe, reflecting their delicate, artisanal construction.

Perfect for those who see coffee time as more than routine, the Meltdown Coffee Set brings a playful yet sophisticated design language to the table, blending irony with elegance. It pairs beautifully with other pieces from Seletti's Tableware collection and makes for a distinctive gift, especially with gift wrap available at checkout.

A conversation starter as much as a functional coffee set, Meltdown captures the spirit of British contradiction — wild yet composed, familiar yet unexpected.
