Seletti La Timida Vase

Meet La Timida, a striking porcelain vase by Seletti that captures a delicate play of contrasts. Depicting a nude female figure poised in gentle shyness, the piece embodies subtle elegance and quiet emotion, transforming the human form into what Seletti calls the iconic "flower woman" — a silhouette where every curve becomes a vessel for nature's beauty.

Each piece is handcrafted by a master artisan in fine porcelain, ensuring that no two vases are entirely alike. The meticulous process highlights genuine craftsmanship, with fine attention paid to form, texture, and finish. Measuring 16 x 16 x H.26 cm (6.29" x 6.29" x 10.23"), La Timida is designed to make a graceful statement on a console, sideboard, or shelf, whether left bare as a sculptural object or filled with flowers to complete its intended metaphor.

This piece is the creation of La Bigotta, the stage name of Anna Neudecker, an Italian artist born in Germany and based in Milan. Her ceramic work merges religious aesthetics, pop culture, and kitsch imagery to explore identity, the female body, and the sacred with both irony and depth. Deliberately provocative, her sculptures challenge stereotypes and taboos, blending spirituality and social commentary into a style entirely her own.

With La Timida, Seletti invites you to bring a piece of contemporary artistic dialogue into your interior — a vase that is at once decorative object, sculptural statement, and conversation starter, crafted with the porcelain expertise that defines the brand's most collectible pieces.
