Seletti Kintsugi Tray

The ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi finds a contemporary voice in this striking tray by Seletti, designed by Marcantonio. Traditionally used to mend broken porcelain with precious metal, the Kintsugi philosophy is here reimagined as a decorative language of its own, celebrating imperfection as a source of beauty rather than concealing it.

Crafted from delicate porcelain, the tray is embellished with fragments of gold, creating charming, unexpected compositions that appear to trace the memory of a repaired crack. Each golden vein enhances the surface with a sense of history and refinement, transforming a simple serving piece into a small work of art destined to catch the eye on any table.

Measuring 42.5 x 29 cm, with a height of 3.5 cm, the tray offers generous surface space while remaining elegant and easy to handle. It is dishwasher-safe, ensuring practicality without compromising on its decorative charm, though it is not suitable for microwave use.

Part of the celebrated Kintsugi collection by Seletti and Marcantonio, this tray pairs beautifully with the matching dinner plates, mugs, and dessert plates from the same line, allowing for a cohesive and artistic table setting. Marcantonio's signature approach — blending irony, craftsmanship, and a deep dialogue between nature and human intervention — shines through in every golden detail.

A refined addition to any home, this piece embodies the perfect balance between Japanese tradition and modern Italian design sensibility.
