Seletti Hybrid Cup

The Seletti Hybrid Coffee Cup Tamara belongs to the celebrated Hybrid collection, a visual dialogue between ancient Eastern and Western ceramic traditions. Reimagined through a contemporary lens, the collection draws on complex historical decoration and translates it into refined, modern shapes that feel both timeless and unexpected.

Crafted in fine Bone China porcelain, the Tamara cup pairs delicate material quality with intricate, richly layered patterns that reflect the studio's signature approach to blending cultures and eras into a single object. The coffee cup measures ø 6.8 cm, h. 5.5 cm, and comes with a matching saucer measuring ø 12.8 cm, h. 1.9 cm, offering an elegant proportion suited to everyday coffee rituals or special occasions alike.

Designed by Ctrl-Zak, the multidisciplinary art and design studio founded by Thanos Zakopoulos and Katia Meneghini, this piece embodies their distinctive use of semiotic language and cross-cultural storytelling. Their work consistently challenges conventional aesthetics, inviting a deeper, more conscious appreciation of design.

Practical as well as beautiful, the Hybrid Coffee Cup Tamara is dishwasher-safe, though it should not be used in the microwave, ensuring it remains a lasting addition to your tableware collection.

Part of a wider Hybrid series that includes drinking glasses, vases, dinner plates, and fruit plates, this coffee cup is an ideal way to introduce Seletti's inventive design language into your daily routine, whether displayed on its own or paired with other pieces from the collection.
