Seletti Hybrid Basket

The Hybrid Desivia Bread Basket by Seletti is part of the celebrated Hybrid collection, a design narrative that fuses ancient Western and Eastern ceramic traditions into a single, contemporary form. Conceived by the multidisciplinary studio Ctrl-Zak, founded by Thanos Zakopoulos and Katia Meneghini, this piece embodies the studio's signature approach: drawing on semiotic references and historic craftsmanship to create objects that resonate on both an aesthetic and cognitive level.

Crafted in porcelain, the Desivia Bread Basket showcases intricate hybrid decorations that reflect a complex cultural heritage reimagined through a modern lens. Its decorative surface tells a story of cross-continental artistry, making it as much a conversation piece as a functional object for the table.

Measuring 25.8 x 12.5 x h 6.4 cm (10.15" x 4.92" x 2.51"), this bread basket is thoughtfully sized for everyday use, whether presenting fresh bread, rolls, or other table essentials during a meal. Please note that the piece is not microwave-safe, and should be cared for accordingly to preserve its detailed finish.

A striking addition to any dining setting, the Desivia Bread Basket pairs beautifully with other pieces from the Hybrid collection, including drinking glasses, coffee cups, and dinner plates, allowing you to build a cohesive and richly decorated table setting. Gift wrap is available, making this an elegant choice for those seeking a thoughtful, design-forward present.
