Santa & Cole Sin S Table Lamp

Sin stands for, without in Spanish. Santa & Cole approached AntoniArola to create a lamp with the modern bulb technology. With the advent of LEDs, AntoniArolahad success in creating the Santa & Cole Sin Table lamp in 2013. It represents a minimalist design without a lampshade or other complexities. It has only the essential components. It compensates for the lack of these with its functionality, which is above par that of conventional lamps.Less is the new more.

The lamp has a ring-like structure made of metal with black graphite or white matte finish. The ring is attached to a base with a sleek, slim shaft and houses the LEDs on the outer rim. A switch in the base dims the light intensity. The lamp comes in two sizes – large and small, and two colors – black and white. Optionally, a lampshade made of white methacrylate (transparent), or graphite aluminium (opaque) is provided. It diffuses the light and gives a soft illumination. But, it is a mesmerizing sight to see without the shade. The lamp looks like a glowing halo hanging in the air and gives a serene feel. The large variant of the lamp with a maximum light intensity setting is enough to light up any large surface.
