Rotaliana Danza H1L2 Pendant Lamp

Rotaliana Danza H1L2 reinterprets the classic chandelier as a sustainable, modular track system. Designed by Giovanni Lauda in 2025, the pendant lamp is built around overlapping rings wired as electrified tracks, which carry a constellation of glass lanterns suspended across two levels. The result is a striking, sculptural composition that blends the technical precision of a track system with the timeless charm of a candlelit chandelier.

Each lantern takes on windproof shapes reminiscent of antique oil lamps, a nod to traditional lighting design reimagined through a contemporary lens. This H1L2 version features a single ring measuring Ø 70 cm, arranged over two levels and hosting a total of 30 lanterns. The glass shades are supplied as a mix of three distinct lantern forms, adding rhythm and variety to the overall silhouette.

The ring is available in matt white, matt black, champagne gold, gold or silver, allowing the structure to be tailored to a range of interior styles, from minimalist to warmly metallic. The glass lanterns can be selected in transparent, silky white, smoke, amber or brown, offering further scope for customization and light diffusion.

Each lantern houses a replaceable Sowden-style COB LED filament bulb, specifically designed for the system, delivering a warm 2700 K colour temperature with a CRI of 90 for faithful, high-quality illumination. The pendant lamp supports Push/Dali dimming and includes a 48 V driver, with Casambi connectivity available on request for smart lighting integration.
