Northern Archive Table Lamp

Designed by the innovative Studio Sløyd, the Northern Archive Table Lamp embodies simplicity with a profound presence. Originally presented in paper models during Designers’ Saturday in Oslo, this lamp has been transformed by Herman Ødegaard and Mikkel Jøraandstad into elegant steel structures. The Archive Lamp comes in two sizes and two color schemes for each size, making it versatile for various settings, whether at home, in the office, or in public spaces.

The arch of its shade gracefully casts adjustable warm light both downwards and outwards, ensuring practicality alongside its aesthetic appeal. Boasting shades in matte black or glossy dark green paired with corresponding bases in brushed steel or light grey, the design is both functional and stylish. The lamp includes a 3-step touch dimmer, enabling control over the intensity of light to suit any atmosphere. Integrating a durable LED bulb ensures that the Archive Table Lamp is as energy-efficient as it is beautiful.

Reflecting the principles of 'sløyd', a Nordic educational system teaching respect for craftsmanship and materials, this piece by Studio Sløyd not only illuminates spaces but also embodies the philosophy of thoughtful and sustainable design in everyday objects.
