NINE Rod Vase

The Rod Vase in Light Blue / Dark Blue is part of NINE's Rod family, a collection of hand made and hand painted earthenware containers designed by Julien Renault. Drawing inspiration from traditional pottery coiling techniques, the vase embodies a thoughtful balance between craft heritage and contemporary design sensibility, making it a striking addition to any interior or outdoor setting.

Crafted from earthenware ceramic with a coloured glaze, each piece is entirely hand made and hand painted, meaning slight variations occur naturally between products, a testament to its artisanal origin. The vase measures H220mm x Ø129mm and weighs 1.30kg, offering a versatile presence suited to tabletops, shelving, or floor styling. It is manufactured in Turkey.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Rod Vase is a considered choice from an environmental perspective. Ceramic is a raw material extracted without intensive procedures, valued for its durability and long lifespan. At the end of its use, it remains completely inert, causing no harm to the environment.

Designed to be used individually or combined with the Rod Pot and Rod Bowl, this vase invites creative styling, whether holding a bunch of flowers or standing alone as a sculptural object. Its Light Blue / Dark Blue colourway offers a distinctive alternative within the Rod family, complementing the Dark Green / Light Blue option for those building a layered, mixed display.

Designed by Julien Renault, a Brussels-based multidisciplinary designer known for his collaborations with Hay, Hem, and Mattiazzi, the Rod Vase reflects his signature approach to elevating everyday objects with quiet, considered beauty.
