Marset Milana 8 Pendant

Designed by Jaume Ramírez in 2019, the Marset Milana 8 Pendant reimagines the very idea of suspended lighting. Rather than starting from a fixed form, Ramírez stripped the lamp down to its essence: a slender cylindrical body housing a built-in LED, suspended with striking simplicity. The result is a modular lighting system that moves beyond static illumination, allowing the point of light itself to shift both vertically and horizontally.

To this minimal cylindrical base, conical shades can be added in off-white or black, letting you tailor the fixture's presence to your space. An almost imperceptible lens conceals the LED while distributing light evenly. Used alone, the cylinder casts a clean, downward beam of light; with a shade attached, light spills outward, gently illuminating the fixture itself and softening the ambience of the room.

What sets Milana apart is its ingenious counterweight mechanism: when hung between two points, each lamp can be slid and repositioned at will, putting control of the light's placement directly in the user's hands. This inventive approach transforms a simple pendant into a flexible lighting composition, ideal for those who want to sculpt light rather than simply switch it on.
