Marset Lauro Floor Lamp

First released in 1973 and now faithfully reissued, the Marset Lauro Floor Lamp is a tribute to a design that has lost none of its character over the decades. Created by P. Aragay and J. Pérez Mateo, it embodies the spirit of an era when design became a defining pillar of the Marset identity, bringing together volume, presence and a distinctly emotional language that still resonates in contemporary interiors.

The lamp's base and stem are crafted from steel, a material that was notoriously difficult to shape at the time of its original creation. Bending it into the lamp's sculptural form was considered a technical feat in the 1970s, and remains a hallmark of quality craftsmanship today. The shade is made from methacrylate, available in a translucent opal finish that casts a soft, diffuse glow, or in a two-layer black version designed for more direct illumination.

True to the original collection, the floor lamp stands 135 cm high with a 38 cm base, echoing the proportions of its 1973 counterpart while asserting its own commanding presence in any room. The shade can be rotated and adjusted along the support, allowing the direction and height of the light to be tailored to the space. In keeping with its vintage-inspired character, Lauro is designed to work with an LED bulb, styled to recall the lamps of decades past.
