Marset Fris 80 Wall / Ceiling Lamp

Designed by Joan Gaspar in 2023, the Marset Fris 80 Wall / Ceiling Lamp is part of a multi-purpose lighting system built around a striking idea: thin, precise beams of light that can be individually aimed in any direction. At the heart of its design is a glass tube that encases the light source, serving both a protective and a mechanical purpose. This glass element not only shields the light but also suspends the entire structure, allowing the lamp to rotate and its beam to be steered exactly where needed.

Through the transparent glass, the lamp's inner workings remain visible, revealing two distinct profiles: one houses the light source itself, while the other acts as a parabolic reflector, shaping a crisp and intense beam. This thoughtful construction transforms the glass tube from a simple cover into an integral functional component, merging material and mechanism into a single, elegant gesture.

The Fris 80 is conceived as a highly versatile solution, equally effective as a standalone fixture or combined with other units to compose more complex lighting arrangements. Thanks to a range of assembly and hanging accessories, multiple lamps can be joined together, each one directing its own light independently, resulting in dynamic, sculptural compositions of light and shadow.

Available fixed to wall or ceiling, the Fris 80 can be specified in black or bronze finishes, and with a light output of 2700 K or 3000 K, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to a variety of interiors and moods.
