Rooted in Poul Henningsen's groundbreaking System PH from 1926, the PH 1/1 Portable is the smallest and most intimate lamp in the iconic three-shade family. Its trio of mouth-blown white opal glass shades are stacked in precise 3:2:1 proportions, diffusing a beautifully soft, glare-free light in every direction. Available in high-lustre chrome or warm metallised brass, the two finishes offer distinct personalities, the chrome lending a crisp, contemporary brightness, while the brass echoes the amber warmth of the candlelight glow the lamp itself produces.
Entirely cordless and IP44-rated, the PH 1/1 Portable moves freely between indoors and outdoors, from a bedside table to a dinner terrace. Its integrated dim-to-warm LED technology adjusts colour temperature from a functional 2700K down to a candlelight-warm 1800K, with stepless or 4-step touch dimming. Rechargeable via USB-C, it delivers up to 5 hours at full brightness and up to 60 hours at its softest setting, a true icon of Scandinavian design, now liberated from the wall.
