Gubi Satellite Wall Lamp

The Gubi Satellite Wall Lamp in Cream White Semi Matt represents a remarkable return to design excellence. Originally conceived by legendary designer Mathieu Matégot in 1953, this striking wall lamp has been unavailable for nearly seventy years—until now. Its reissue brings back a masterpiece of mid-century modern design that seamlessly blends artistic vision with functional lighting.

Matégot's Satellite design is a bold celebration of post-war optimism and scientific progress in France. The lamp's name itself pays homage to humanity's fascination with space exploration, while its geometric forms and finely-balanced sculptural arms create an instantly recognizable aesthetic. Every curve and angle has been carefully considered, resulting in a wall lamp that functions as both a practical light source and a striking decorative statement.

Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the Satellite features a black base that anchors two cream white semi-matte shades. This sophisticated color combination ensures the lamp complements a wide range of interior styles, from contemporary minimalist spaces to classic modern settings. The fixture accommodates two E27 sockets, providing ample illumination for any room, and bulbs are included with your purchase.

Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or accent lighting in hallways and studies, the Gubi Satellite Wall Lamp is an investment in timeless design. This is an authentic indoor wall lamp that captures the spirit of 1950s innovation while maintaining relevance in today's design-conscious homes.
