Gubi Private Desk

The Gubi Private Desk in Brown/Black Stained Oak represents a masterclass in understated sophistication and timeless design. Created by the acclaimed design studio Space Copenhagen, this dual-purpose piece seamlessly bridges the gap between functional workspace and elegant home furnishing.

Drawing inspiration from the refined aesthetics and meticulous craftsmanship of antique Japanese furniture, the Private Desk features a beautifully crafted oak-veneered surface supported by a distinctive structural design. Two vertical legs are unified by a single horizontal beam, creating a striking visual balance that combines structural integrity with an impressively light appearance. This thoughtful engineering ensures both stability and an airy, uncluttered silhouette.

Available in a rich brown/black stained finish, this versatile piece transitions effortlessly from dedicated homeworking desk by day to sophisticated console table by evening. The generous work surface provides ample space for focused productivity, while the refined proportions make it equally at home in living rooms, entryways, or bedrooms.

Designed for the demands of contemporary living, the Private Desk pairs beautifully with other elements from the Private Collection, allowing for cohesive interior styling across multiple spaces. The exceptional craftsmanship and premium oak construction ensure this piece will develop character and patina over time, becoming increasingly cherished as it ages. Whether you seek a functional workspace solution or an architectural accent piece, the Private Desk delivers on both fronts with understated elegance and enduring quality.
