Gubi P3S Outdoor Chaise Longue

Designed in 1964 by architect and designer Tito Agnoli for the Italian rattan masters Bonacina 1889, the P3S Chaise Longue brings together sculptural elegance, playful expression, and ergonomic comfort. Formed from handwoven rattan strips fixed to a tubular steel frame, it represents the highest level of rattan craftsmanship, showcasing the material's natural warmth and texture in every curve.

Marking GUBI's first sun lounger, the P3S extends the brand's design language seamlessly across indoor and outdoor spaces, offering the same sculptural presence whether placed on a shaded veranda, beside a pool, or within an open-air lounge setting. The design is available in a Natural Tone base finish, allowing the raw beauty of the rattan weave to take center stage.

Pulling directly from Bonacina's archival drawings, GUBI has meticulously adapted this rattan icon for a new era of indoor-outdoor fluidity, inviting a slower rhythm of life and a closer connection to nature. The P3S is part of a wider reintroduction of Agnoli's work, developed in close collaboration with Bonacina 1889, the legendary Italian house that has shaped the story of rattan for more than a century, working alongside visionaries such as Gio Ponti and Joe Colombo.

Tito Agnoli's rattan portfolio for Bonacina spans chairs, loungers, stools, and tables, all combining comfort and pragmatism while demonstrating the full range of traditional craft techniques: bending, binding, and weaving. The P3S Chaise Longue stands as a refined expression of this heritage, built for lasting outdoor use.
