Gubi Hornbæk Portable Lamp

Born from a collaboration with the five-star CORI Hornbæk Hotel on Denmark's northern coastline, the Hornbæk Portable Lamp by GUBI distils the quiet poetry of seaside living into a sculptural object of light. Its tall, tapered canvas shade draws on the imagery of wind-filled sails and the lanterns that once guided sailors along the shore, while the hand-glazed white ceramic base and antique brass ring handle add a refined, artisanal quality. The Poppy Yellow trim — edging both the top and bottom of the shade — brings a sunlit warmth inspired by coastal flowers and long summer evenings by the sea.

Designed for life in motion, the lamp is fully wireless and rechargeable via USB-C, with a built-in dimmable LED system and an IP44 weather rating that makes it equally at home on a terrace, a balcony, or a bedside table. The brass ring doubles as a carrying handle, so the lamp travels effortlessly from room to room or indoors to out.
