Gubi Gräshoppa Pendant

Designed by Swedish product design pioneer Greta M. Grossman, Gräshoppa Pendant Lighting was inspired by her original Gräshoppa Lighting Fixture collection.

The inspiration for these designs comes from the body and movements of a grasshopper, which has been articulated in the design in an exceptionally abstract way.

The conceptualization of this particular lighting is not only abstract, but also whimsical, which has been a defining character of Grossman's designs. The high concept and industrial look make the Gräshoppa Pendant Light one of the most iconic lamps in the Gubi collection.

Grossman used his signature materials in the formation and stylization of the Gräshoppa pendant lighting. The steel shade is not only lightweight, but also flexible in its aesthetic. It combines the concepts of adaptability and originality in a neat package and constitutes the outstanding attractive form of the Gräshoppa pendant lamp.

This lighting fixture is modern in its interpretation, and atmospheric in its pace. Its unique style and trendy appearance are complemented by its great functionality and practicality. It goes without saying that the Gräshoppa Pendant is and will remain a classic for a long time to come.
