Gubi Coppia Table Lamp

The Coppia Table Lamp, designed for GUBI by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt, is a sculptural lighting piece that merges art, design, and functionality. Named after the Italian word for "couple," Coppia celebrates pairings through its dual materials and twin plexiglass discs encased in elegantly curved stainless steel. Its geometric yet fluid form allows it to transition effortlessly between table and floor lamp, adapting to various settings such as desktops, bedsides, or windowsills. The brushed stainless steel frame features a warm bronze glow, beautifully offset by three nature-inspired plexiglass colorways: Ivory/Blush, Ivory/Olive, and Ivory/Clover.

Coppia transforms light into art by diffusing a soft, ambient glow through its plexiglass discs, which reflect subtly off the steel frame. The interplay of materials and light creates a dynamic visual experience, while openings in the metal structure invite a deeper exploration of its intricate design. Combining contemporary craftsmanship with timeless elegance, the Coppia Table Lamp adds a sculptural, atmospheric touch to any space, redefining the boundaries between functional lighting and artistic expression.
