Forestier Parrot XX-Large Wall Lamp

The Forestier Parrot XX-Large Wall Lamp is a testament to the harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, envisioned by the talented designer Jette Scheib. Inspired by the vibrant color palette of parrots, this lamp features an intricate assembly of colored abaca, meticulously woven and folded into a geometric yet rounded form. The use of abaca, an age-old material renowned for its durability and natural elegance, highlights the designer's commitment to sustainability and heritage techniques.

Scheib's approach to the Parrot collection goes beyond mere aesthetics; she aims to foster a deeper connection between the object and its user, turning each lamp into a source of emotional resonance and well-being. This vision is deeply intertwined with the philosophy of the traditional basket-weaving, considered by the designer as a meditative practice that imbues the final creation with meaning and soul. Every piece in the Parrot collection is not just a light fixture; it's a statement of mindfulness and a tribute to the art of weaving, promising to add not only light but also a piece of cultural narrative to any room.

With its substantial size and striking appearance, the Forestier Parrot XX-Large Wall Lamp serves as a focal point in any interior space, beautifully reflecting its designer's artistic intent and the skilled hands of the craftspeople who bring it to life.
