Forestier Parrot Large Wall Lamp

The Forestier Parrot Large Wall Lamp, designed by Jette Scheib, is a vibrant addition that pays homage to the enchanting colors of a parrot. This lamp is skillfully crafted using age-old weaving and folding techniques, employing colored abaca to form a design that intertwines geometric precision with a soothing circular symmetry. This choice of material and method, deeply entrenched in tradition and environmental consciousness, represents a bridge between classic craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetic.

Jette Scheib's design philosophy with the Parrot collection goes beyond simple visual appeal, focusing on fostering an immersive interaction between the lamp and its user. Every element, from the texture to the shape, is intended to contribute to a sense of well-being. The making of this piece is considered by the designer to be akin to a meditative act, akin to that of a basket weaver, transforming the lamp not just into a source of light but an emotional presence in any space. It's an art piece, offering both illumination and a story, destined to be a captivating part of your home decor.
