Michael Anastassiades always seeks the essence of shapes and materials and translates this into abstract designs that perfectly complement architecture and interiors. The Flos String Light ceiling system, which crosses the room like a minimalist pencil line, is a perfect example of Anastassiades' innovative way of designing.

Depending on the size of the room and the graphic effect you want to achieve, you have the choice of a Flos String Light Sphere with a 12m or 22m cable. If necessary, you can order an additional 15m cable.

To complete your String Light configuration and connect it to the mains, you have 2 options:

Wall/ceiling rosette connected directly to electricity: Up to 3 pendant lights. 3 outlets for cables. Space for 10 metres of cable.

Floor switch with a plug to connect to a socket: Up to two Pendant Lamps. 2 outlets for cables. Space to wind 10 metres of cable.

Depending on your configuration and the number of Spheres, you may need several rosettes or floor switches.

The Flos String Light Sphere is composed of an aluminium body, with soft-touch varnish, and an opal white polycarbonate diffuser. The integrated LED module emits soft warm light and is dimmable. For this, you have a choice of 2 versions:

Touch Dim version: Switching on and off and dimming is done by pressing the cable just above the Sphere

CASAMBI ready and Touch dim: Switching on and off and dimming can be done via the CASAMBI app for your smartphone or in the same way as the regular Touch Dim version by touching the cable.

Besides the Flos String Light Sphere, you also have the Flos String Light Cone. For an extra graphic effect and specific lighting solution according to the application in the room, you can even combine the 2. For example, the Sphere for above the seating area and the Cone above the table or desk.
